Luyang Assemblyman Samuel Wong and Api-Api Assemblyman Loi Kok Liang have officially opened their joint service centre at Bornion Centre, marking a new step towards strengthening grassroots services for the people of both constituencies.
The newly established N20 Api-Api and N21 Luyang Assemblymen Office will function as a shared platform to better coordinate public assistance, address community concerns, and enhance responsiveness to local issues.
“This centre belongs to the people. By operating together, we can streamline our efforts, respond faster to public complaints, and ensure residents from both constituencies receive the attention they deserve,” he said.
Loi emphasized that the collaboration demonstrates unity in serving the people beyond constituency boundaries.
“Whether it involves welfare assistance, infrastructure complaints, licensing matters or community development issues, residents can approach this centre with confidence. We are committed to genuine, hands-on service,” he said.
Both assemblymen stressed that the establishment of the joint office is aimed at improving coordination between their service teams, enhancing follow-up mechanisms, and ensuring that public issues are handled more effectively.
They expressed appreciation to supporters and community leaders who have continuously engaged with their offices, and reaffirmed their commitment to transparency, accountability, and people-centric leadership.
The joint service centre at Bornion Centre is now fully operational and open to residents seeking assistance or wishing to raise matters concerning their communities.
