Sabah State Assemblyman N.20 Api-Api, Loi Kok Liang, has confirmed that his image has been misused to create a fake account on social media. He stated that this action aims to confuse the public.
Liang has reported the matter to the social media platform and advised the public to refer only to his official account. In his statement, he emphasized that competition in public affairs and the democratic system should be based on ideas, capabilities, and service to the people, not through improper means.
He also expressed confidence in the wisdom of the people to assess the truth and distinguish real facts. Liang thanked the public for their support and promised to continue serving and advocating for the interests of the community and Sabah. Additionally, he requested the public's assistance in reporting the fake account.
