SANDAKAN, April 28, 2026 – The Warisan Party of the Batu Sapi constituency continues its humanitarian aid initiative to assist fire victims in Kampung Bahagia, Sandakan, who were affected by a recent fire incident.
In an effort to alleviate the burden of the affected residents, volunteers from the Batu Sapi Warisan Party have gone to the ground to purchase various essential items needed by the victims, including food storage containers, baskets, daily use equipment, and other necessities for the families involved.
Additionally, the volunteer team also worked together to prepare food in the form of takeaways and packages to be distributed to the residents of Kampung Bahagia, especially families who are still facing difficulties after losing their homes and belongings due to the fire.
The food preparation process involved the work of preparing raw materials, cooking, and packaging the food before it was directly distributed to the affected residents.
According to a representative of the Batu Sapi Warisan Party, this effort is part of the party's ongoing commitment to ensure the welfare of the people is always given attention, especially during difficult times.
“This aid may not fully replace what has been lost, but we hope it can somewhat lighten the burden of the victims and show that they are not facing this trial alone,” he said.
The Batu Sapi Warisan Party also expressed appreciation to all volunteers and donors who came forward to help realize this humanitarian mission.
They hope that more parties will continue to step forward to provide assistance in helping the recovery process of the residents of Kampung Bahagia in the coming period.
